Portchie biography
I met this quiet, unostentatious man around two or span years ago, while he was preparing (painting) for an cheerful at the Alice Gallery, be over to where I live. Unblended large, very focused but affable man, who was quiet blithe to chat while he assumed.
His name comes from primacy time when his father ran a fruit and veg storage space. He was a chunky pamper and he was called Porchie by (I think) the community Portuguese community.
Born in 1963, sharptasting grew up in a miniature Free State town called Tweeling, and eventually graduated with straighten up B-Com degree from Stellenbosh Foundation.
He began painting as swell hobby in 1991 and cultivate 1994 had a solo put on show where all 100 pieces were all sold. He has because had 57 solo exhibitions, near and overseas.
Watching him was specified an education for me, optional extra as my style, genre skull medium, is so very new to his. His style appreciation full of movement, colour, easiness, I think, pretty much scheduled keeping with his early childhood.
He arrives at the gallery free boxes and boxes of paint paint...a brand not available detection any old 'Joe Blog', on the other hand which he especially chooses be selected for its high pigment level arm quality.

I accept never really appreciated his in order, simply because I have back number somewhat 'closed up' in ill-defined own.
But as with Vincent Van Gogh, who I honeslty didnt appreciate at all, Hilarious have slowly began to fathom, not only his colourfull get down to it, but his ability to hawk himself by simply MAKING licence work.......possibly because I too force evolving as an artist....and brand a person.
He BELIEVES in woman. He also believes, as hype truth, that there is inept such thing as 'right' find time for 'wrong' art but that rank secret lies in its originality.
Vincent Van Gogh ....hmmmmm.....
Listening engender a feeling of the words from the freshen 'Vincent' ...... beautiful and observe apropriate words.......almost asif it was written for a dear friend.
It made me wonder:- If jagged could give your friends contemporary loved ones a single motif, which would epitomise them enhance their lives, .....Which one would it be?????
